Ground school courses
Ground school at Ventum Air ATO is delivered through our distance-learning platform and as classroom lectures at Warsaw-Babice Airport (ICAO: EPBC), hangar 4.
Choose a ground school course
- PPL(A) and LAPL(A) theory – 6 weeks: 79 hours of e-learning and a 3-day classroom session, a bank of 2200 questions, in Polish or English. This is where everyone starts.
- PPL(A) LKE practice tests – 10 subjects, random questions from the published LKE bank and a time limit. Test yourself before the CAA exam.
- IR(A) theory – 6 weeks: 129 hours of e-learning and 21 hours of lectures during a 3-day classroom session, with a bank of 7000 questions.
- EIR(A) theory – 80 hours: 66 hours of e-learning and 14 hours of classroom training over one weekend.
- ATPL(A) theory – 13 subjects, 36–50 weeks, in English; PadPilot e-learning, with no classroom attendance.
- HPA theory – for high-performance aeroplanes.
- FI(A) theory – 125 hours of lectures and exercises for future instructors, in groups of up to 12.
- Renewal of ground school certificates – after expiry: document review, knowledge test, individual training programme and internal exam.
After ground school, continue to the flight-training stage with us, without changing schools: flight training.
