From zero to ATPL – the VENTUM AIR programme
The 0-ATPL programme is a structured route for people who want to build a career in civil aviation. You do not need previous experience: we provide the complete theoretical and practical preparation expected by leading airlines.
What does the programme include?
- Theory and PPL(A) flight training – your foundation in the air.
- Pilot-in-command (PIC) hour building – time to make independent decisions and build confidence at the controls.
- Night VFR rating – learn to operate the aircraft after dark.
- ATPL(A) theory + 100KSA – the specialist knowledge required in commercial aviation.
- Theory and MEP(L) flight training – transition to multi-engine aeroplanes.
- IR(A) training – instrument flying.
- CPL(A) – the final step towards a commercial pilot licence.
How many hours does it include, and how is flight training organised? The programme includes 200 flight hours, of which 26 are in multi-engine aeroplanes, plus 35 hours in an FNPT II simulator. See the stage-by-stage breakdown on the Zero to ATPL(A) flight training page. This page maps the complete route; that page gives the hours for each stage.
Who trains you, and where can the programme take you? You train with instructors who have airline experience, including Marek Różyński (20,075 hours and 15 years at LOT Polish Airlines) and Damian Kruczek (7500 hours and a Boeing 787 qualification). Meet our instructors. Graduates of this route include pilots now flying the A320 at Wizz Air and the B737 at Enter Air. See graduate careers. The entire programme takes place at one organisation at Warsaw-Babice Airport, including ground school, flight training, simulator sessions and exams. You do not need to move to another school after PPL(A).
