Damian Kruczek
Damian is an instructor with extensive operational and training experience who has consistently developed his aviation career for more than a decade. He followed the classic route: PPL(A) → MEP(L) → CPL(A) → IR → FI(A), building strong practical and theoretical foundations. Today he holds FI/IR instructor privileges for single-engine and multi-engine aircraft and a type rating for the Boeing 787.
He has logged 7500 flight hours and has experience on many aircraft types, from training aircraft to advanced airliners.

He most enjoys training for the CPL, which allows him to shape future commercial pilots and prepare them for their first professional challenges in the cockpit.
His training philosophy? Efficient, friendly and safe. He focuses on an efficiently organised training process, a supportive atmosphere and the highest safety standards, because aviation leaves no room for compromise.
Outside aviation, he enjoys water sports, motoring and anything that provides a solid dose of adrenaline.

From 1994–1997 he flew the Fairchild Metroliner III, flying for SKYPOL on DHL cargo services throughout Europe.
The next stage, from 1997–2012, was a long career at PLL LOT, where he operated: ATR-72, EMB-145, EMB-170/175 and Boeing 767, on domestic, European and intercontinental flights.
From 2012–2020 he worked with: Air Malta, Orient Thai, OLT Express, Nesma, Sky Angkor Airlines, Small Planet, flying Airbus A319/320/321 on routes around the world.
As an instructor, he now particularly values training in IFR and ME, passing on knowledge based on thousands of hours of operations in varied conditions and aviation environments.
Aircraft used in his training experience include: P-2006T, P-2008, P-2002 Mentor (SIRA).
His training philosophy is simple and unequivocal: Safety first. Precision, operational discipline and correct habits form the foundation of his work as an instructor.
Outside aviation, he is passionate about the Russian language. He was a member of the first Smolensk Commission chaired by Maciej Lasek, former head of the PKBWL and current deputy minister.

Instructor
Krzysztof Krawcewicz
He began his aviation journey in 1980 with glider training. During his first flight, when the instructor took him above the clouds, he said: “I’m staying here.” And he did, for 45 years and counting.
An FI flight instructor and CPL pilot with IR privileges, he regularly flies the PS-28 Cruiser, but in practice has experience across a very wide range of aircraft, from Zlin 142, Wilga, Cessna 150/152/172/182, Piper PA28 and PA34 Seneca, Tecnam P2006T, An-2, Cessna Caravan, Cirrus SR22, Diamond DA40, Maule MXT7, to aircraft that need to be test-flown before they can be accurately reviewed in Przegląd Lotniczy.

He most enjoys training for the PPL, Night VFR and CPL — the stages at which genuine flying foundations are built.
His training philosophy is based on the analytical method. He does not accept a “we’ll manage somehow” approach. Every element of flying must be broken down and mastered like an alphabet. Only then is it time for synthesis. This requires patience, discipline and understanding, because every cockpit action must be justified by flight mechanics and aerodynamics. Theory is not an optional addition; it is the foundation. Without it, a pilot’s development remains incomplete.
For student pilots? A demanding instructor with a kind heart.
By education and profession, he is an aeronautical engineer. He worked as a designer on the aerobatic glider projects Swift and Fox and the aircraft Gniady and PZL-111 Koliber Senior. Since 1993, he has been editor-in-chief of Przegląd Lotniczy, combining editorial work with active flying and training successive generations of pilots.
He speaks German, English and Russian, as well as conversational Spanish.

Adam Paszta
Adam represents a younger generation of airline pilots who combine a developing career in commercial aviation with training future pilots.
He began in 2018 with PPL(A) training at the Zamość Flying Club. He then completed commercial licence training at PANS (PWSZ) in Chełm. In his third year of study, he was selected for an advanced training programme through which he received 70 hours of PIC flight time and completed FI(A) instructor training.

In April 2023, after working as an instructor for approximately six months, he began a type-rating course on the Airbus A320. After a year of airline flying, he returned to his base in Poland and almost immediately took steps to resume instructing as an FI(A). This led to his work with Ventum Air.
His experience includes: PS-28(N), Cessna 152/172, Piper PA-28/34 and Airbus A320.
He most enjoys training for PPL(A) – especially flights on which a student takes off and lands alone for the first time. As he says, witnessing that moment is one of the finest parts of an instructor’s work.
His training philosophy combines experience from light aviation and the cockpit of an 80-tonne airliner. He aims for a relaxed but professional atmosphere, builds operational awareness from the first hours of training and passes on practical habits that support a student’s future career.
For him, aviation is not only a job but a way of life. After an airline flight, he can return home and spend more hours in a simulator, this time in virtual reality flying a helicopter or fighter jet. His passion does not end when the engines are shut down.

In only six months, he passed the ATPL(A) examinations with a score of 92%, demonstrating his consistency and very strong theoretical knowledge. He particularly enjoys IFR flying and intends to focus extensively on instrument-rating instruction in future.
His experience includes: Cruiser PS-28, Tecnam P2006T, Tecnam P2008JC, Cessna 152/172, AT-3.
He finds both flight training at every level, from PPL to advanced flying, and ground school, especially rewarding because he can clarify difficult subjects and build students’ deep understanding of aviation.
His training philosophy is based on availability and support. He tells every student that they can always call with a question, whether about a complete licence course or a two-hour proficiency check. He encourages contact even after the course ends. Above all, he wants every student to feel genuinely supported and to develop their passion safely and consciously.
“Memory five – speak soon.”
Outside aviation, he holds ICAO English Level 5 and speaks Swedish fluently.

He has flown aircraft including: PS-28 Cruiser, Diamond DA20, Cessna 150/152/172, MS892, Tecnam P2006T and ultralight aircraft.
He most enjoys training for the PPL(A) — the stage at which fundamental habits, situational awareness and correct flying technique are formed.
His training philosophy is based on an individual approach to each student. Every student has different aptitudes, learning pace and goals. An instructor’s role is to adapt the method so that training is effective, safe and builds confidence in the air.
His interests include GA flying, ultralight aircraft maintenance and work as a Rotax iRMT. He is an electronics and computer engineering graduate and has worked in IT management for 30 years.
His technical understanding of systems, organisational experience and calm approach to working with people contribute to a structured, considered and safe training process.
