The ATPL(A) theory course prepares you for the Polish CAA state exams in all 13 subjects required by Part-FCL, from air law and meteorology to performance, flight planning and navigation. You study remotely using Avioner and PadPilot, with live online sessions for each subject and the 100KSA module. The course takes 36–50 weeks, requires no classroom attendance and is delivered in English, the language used in the exams and in airline operations.

The theoretical training programme towards the Airline Transport Pilot Licence ATPL (A), delivered in accordance with European standards and Part-FCL, combines self-study on the Avioner and PadPilot e-learning platforms, live online sessions for individual subjects and the 100KSA module. The complete ATPL licence theory course is delivered remotely in English, requires no classroom attendance and takes 36–50 weeks. It covers 13 subjects: air law and air traffic control procedures, principles of flight, meteorology, performance, flight planning, human performance and limitations, communications, navigation, radio navigation, general aircraft knowledge, instrumentation, mass and balance, and operational procedures. Participants receive an online certificate for the ATPL theory course. The certificate is authenticated with an electronic signature and supports progression towards the licence pathway.

Before starting ATPL (A) theory, you must hold a valid licence — specifically PPL(A) — issued by an ICAO member state, hold an English language proficiency certificate at ICAO Level 4 or above, and have completed at least secondary education.

The PadPilot e-learning platform used as an integral part of training at Ventum Air ATO includes presentations, supporting materials, instructional videos, study notes, practice-test applications and an exam question bank with correct answers.

Before starting the course, you must pass a short test covering basic mathematics and physics.

The course costs PLN 8,000 and is VAT exempt.

Entry requirements for the ATPL(A) theory course:

• at least 17 years old
• at least lower-secondary education or equivalent
• a valid PPL(A) licence
• a valid ICAO English Level 4 certificate or higher
