This comprehensive flight-training programme is designed for people who want to progress steadily from the basics to professional pilot qualifications.

During training, you earn a PPL(A) Private Pilot Licence before adding the Night VFR and IR(A) instrument ratings. The next stage adds the MEP(L) multi-engine rating and a CPL(A) Commercial Pilot Licence. Complete ATPL(A) ground school prepares you for the next stage of a career in commercial air transport.

The programme includes 200 flight hours, including 26 hours on multi-engine aircraft. It also uses a modern FNPT II flight simulator for 35 hours. Your combined time in the air and simulator is 235 hours, allowing you to build sound experience and confidence in flight operations.

Practical training stages:

  1. PPL(A) flight training – 45 hours on a PS-28 Cruiser
  2. Night VFR – 3 hours of theory and 5 hours of flight training
  3. Pilot-in-command (PIC) hour building
  4. MEP(L) flight training – 1–2 days of theory and 6 hours on a Tecnam P2006T
  5. Simulator training and IR(A) flight training – 35 hours in a simulator and 20 hours in aircraft (BIFM: 5 hours FNPT II and 5 hours on PS-28 Cruiser; IR: 30 hours FNPT II and 15 hours on Tecnam P2006T; BIFM is part of IR(A) training)
  6. CPL(A) flight training – 10 hours on a PS-28 Cruiser and 5 on a Tecnam P2006T

ATPL(A) ground school lasts 36–50 weeks, is delivered entirely online and requires no classroom sessions. See the schedule and map for the full route: 0-ATPL programme.
